Tea Party Protests Affordable Care Act

Washington, DC
Saturday, March 24, 2012

The Tea Party Patriots hold a rally in Washington, D.C. to protest the Affordable Care Act, two days before the Supreme Court begins to hear oral arguments on the law.

Tea Party Patriots National Coordinator and Co-Founder Jenny Martin, former presidential candidate Herman Cain and Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli spoke at the rally, along with Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Rep. Dan Benishek (R-MI) and other national speakers and tea party activists from across the country.

Martin said that the "Road to Repeal Rally" is "the first and important step to repealing the law.”

Heavy rain in Washington caused some brief technical difficulties in the first hour.
