This week on The Communicators, Deputy Assistant Secretary Daniel Baer discusses the status of internet freedom around the world. He also looks at some nations’ and international groups’ efforts to restrict or govern the internet, and how the U.S. works to encourage internet freedom.

The State Department’s annual Human Rights Report was issued May 24. The report covered the year 2011 and it has a section for each country on internet freedom.
