The Pentagon Papers 35 Years Later

On June 13th, 1971, the New York Times began publishing the "Pentagon Papers," a top-secret Defense Department study on the United States political and military involvement in Vietnam from 1945 through 1967.

The Pentagon Papers were leaked to the New York Times by Daniel Ellsberg, who is part of the following discussion along with former New York Times employees.
