A look at the historical roles and responsibilities of the First Lady as well as how those roles have evolved.  The panel, which includes historians and former White House staff discusses Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy and Betty Ford as well as Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush.  This event was part of a conference which examined the legacies of America's First Ladies and took place at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library.
