This program looks at several aspects of the life of Theodore Roosevelt, including his relationship with suffragist Jane Addams, the 1912 assassination attempt against him, and the agenda of his Progressive Party in the 1912 presidential election. Among the speakers: University of Virginia Politics Professor Sidney Milkis, and Louise Knight, author of "Citizen: Jane Addams and the Struggle for Democracy." The Theodore Roosevelt Association hosted this event.
