U.S. Coast Guard Hearing on the Deepwater Horizon Explosion from Houston - Day 4

In Houston, the joint U.S. Coast Guard & Bureau of Energy Management investigation into the Deepwater Horizon rig explosion continues into its fourth day. Witnesses include BP executive Kent Wells and Two BP engineers who were involved in the Macondo well operations and visited the rig the day of the explosion. The failure of the giant system of valves on the sea floor to close the well in an emergency has been a principal focus of the investigation into the April 20 rig explosion.
