Vice President Biden criticized Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney in Ohio Thursday for taking credit for the recent improvements to the auto industry as well as for his work at Bain Capital, the venture capital firm he co-founded.

"A company president's job is to look out for investors, regardless of what that means for jobs, Biden said at Staffilino Chevrolet, a family-owned dealership in Martins Ferry, Ohio. "But that's not the job of a president of the United States of America. The job is much bigger than that."

This event was part of the Vice President Biden's two-day tour of eastern Ohio where he focused on President Obama's economic policies and their impact on the state's manufacturing and auto industries.  On Wednesday afternoon, the Vice President visited M7 Technologies, an advanced manufacturing facility in Youngstown.

The Vice President was in Ohio earlier this year in March where he also spoke about the auto recovery to United Auto Workers Local 12 in Toledo.

Also on Thursday, the Obama campaign held a press conference call with Delaware Attorney General and Major in the Delaware Army National Guard Beau Biden and OFA National Veterans & Military Families Outreach Director Rob Diamond to announce the national launch of Veterans and Military Families for Obama.  The President & First Lady also released a video announced the new veterans group.
