Vice President Biden Returns to Ohio for Campaign Event in Columbus

Columbus, Ohio
Thursday, July 19, 2012

Vice President Joe Biden campaigns in Columbus, Ohio as part of his  "Made in Ohio Manufacturing" tour.

According to the Obama campaign, the Vice President will "highlight President Obama's efforts to strengthen Ohio's manufacturing industry and bolster middle-class security for Ohio's workers. The Vice President will also discuss the choice in this election between two fundamentally different visions of how to grow the economy, create middle-class jobs and pay down the debt. "

The Vice President was last in Ohio at the Staffilino Chevrolet dealership in Martins Ferry where he talked about the Administration's efforts to help the auto industry.

The event, being held at the Plumbers & Pipe Fitter Local Union 189, comes a day after Mitt Romney campaigned in the state where he criticized the President for his economic policies. The President held a campaign town hall with supporters in Cincinnati on Monday.
