Each weekday morning this week, the Washington Journal highlights specific taxes, deductions and budgetary programs that will be impacted if the country goes off the so-called “fiscal cliff.” On Monday, we look at tax loopholes and deductions.
First, Wall Street Journal Reporter John McKinnon will discuss some of the tax loopholes and deductions potentially on the chopping block in the so-called “fiscal cliff” negotiations, as well as how these deductions would impact Americans of varying incomes across the country.
Then, Curtis Dubay, Senior Tax Policy Analyst at the Heritage Foundation, and Chuck Marr, Federal Tax Policy Director at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, will take part in a roundtable discussion on the tax loopholes and deductions most likely to be up for debate.
