Washington Journal Examines the 'Fiscal Cliff'

Washington, DC
Wednesday, December 5, 2012

Each weekday morning the Washington Journal highlights specific taxes, deductions, and budgetary programs that will be impacted if the country goes off the so-called “fiscal cliff.” Wednesday, we looked at the Estate and Capital Gains taxes.

Politico Tax Editor Joseph Schatz remarked on the Estate Tax, which is set to go up at the end of the year unless Congress and the White House act.  He also addresses the Capital Gains Tax, the rates for which are scheduled to increase in 2013 barring action by Washington.
