Topic:  WJ discusses education issues including the future of education policy, the Administration’s proposed American Jobs Act & the impact it would have on teachers, as well as NEA’s role & goals in the 2012 election cycle.  Tomorrow also marks the start of American Education Week. 

Harry Johns, Alzheimer’s Association, President & CEO         

Topic: Johns discusses the feedback his organization received from more than 43,000 individuals across the country who participated in the Alzheimer’s Association’s 132 input sessions throughout the country.  The report will be used in developing a national plan by the federal government to combat the mind-destroying disease.  According to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s is the sixth-leading cause of death and the only cause among the top 10 in the United States without a means to prevent, cure or even slow its progress.
