C. Boyden Gray, Lead Attorney in Federal, Case Challenging Dodd-Frank Act

Topic: Mr. Gray is lead attorney in a case that attempts to challenge the constitutionality of the Dodd-Frank Act.  In his suit representing the State National Bank of Big Spring, Texas, the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the 60 Plus Association, Mr. Gray makes the case provisions of the Act including the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau violates the Constitution’s separation of powers.

Topic: The release today of “America’s Children in Brief: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, 2012.” The report was compiled by the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics, a working group of 22 Federal agencies that produce and use data on issues related to children and families.  Our conversation will include key indicators of national well-being among America’s children, and the policy issues that affect it.  Topics include teen birth rates; poverty level; parental employment; crime victimization; drug use and other issues.
