Topic:  The Federal investigation probe into who leaked information about an al-Qaeda plot that surfaced last week in which an explosive device was to have been detonated on a U.S.-bound airline flight.  Our conversation will also include FBI Director Robert Mueller’s request to Congress last week that it reauthorize counter-terrorism tools enacted in 2008 that expire at year-end.  These include the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), the 1978 law that allows warrantless surveillance of foreign suspects, including those who communicate with U.S. residents.
