Rep. Jay Inslee (D-WA) is a member of the House Energy and Commerce and its Subcommittee on Energy and Power. The full committee holds a hearing Wednesday on Chairman Fred Upton’s (R-MI) draft legislation that would strip the EPA of its authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), Republican Conference, Vice Chairman talks about the legislative battles over EPA carbon rules, the health care law, as well as budget and spending issues.

Don Mathis, Community Action Partnership, President & CEO describes Community Services Block Grants, which gives federal dollars to communities to provide a range of services and activities to assist the needs of low-income individuals including the homeless, migrants and the elderly.
