Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) discusses yesterday’s meeting of the Super Committee and the future of entitlement programs such as Social Security. 

Rich Lowrie helped to draft GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain’s “9-9-9” economic plan – a proposal to replace the federal tax code with a flat 9 percent tax on personal income and businesses and a 9 percent national sales tax. Mr. Cain recently revised his plan to not tax personal income for those below poverty level.
