What Presidential Campaigns Reveal About a Candidate's Leadership

Washington, DC
Wednesday, October 3, 2012

Fmr. Republican Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman joined the Brookings Institution for a panel discussion on what the presidential candidates' campaigns reveal about their leadership styles.

Former Rep. Bart Gordon, D-Tenn., and Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol also participated in the discussion on what voters can glean about a president's future leadership based on how he manages his campaign, as part of the Institute's Governance Studies leadership and management initiative.

Jon Huntsman, who ran for president during this campaign cycle, was previously the U.S. Ambassador to China under President Obama, and served as the Governor of Utah.
