White House Briefing with Press Secretary Jay Carney

At this White House daily briefing, Press Secretary Jay Carney took questions about the federal government’s call for Americans to stay at least 50 miles away from the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan, even though the Japanese government has designated a 20-mile safety perimeter.  He also discussed U.S. policy toward the political unrest and violence in Libya and Bahrain.
