White House Press Secretary Jay Carney held his daily briefing at the White House. Questions included the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, the latest on negotiations on the so called "fiscal cliff" and the situation in the Middle East.
The President and Speaker John Boehner’s met earlier this morning on the "fiscal cliff" for about 45 minutes.
