White House Science and Technology Policy Director John Holdren testified before the House Science, Space and Technology Committee today discussing the priorities of U.S. science policies.
He spoke about clean energy initiatives, green jobs and the restructuring of the U.S. space program as NASA’s space shuttle programs comes to end.
The restructured U.S. space policy assigns private firms to transport materials to and from the International Space Station so that NASA will have the ability to pursue more advanced technologies.
Rep. Ralph Hall (R-TX) chaired the hearing.
