Woodward and Bernstein Discuss Investigative Journalism and the Digital Age

Four decades after Watergate, the two Washington Post reporters who broke the story recounted what happened and how they uncovered the facts in a scandal that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.Carl Bernstein called it an assault on the U.S. democracy but at the same time says it showed that our system of governance worked.

 

Bernstein and Bob Woodward were among the featured speakers in a panel discussion on Watergate, Investigative Journalism and the digital age at The American Society of News Editors Conference in Washington, DC.
