"The General George S. Patton Story" is a biographical film about the American general whose victories with the Third Army helped win World War II. As well as battle scenes, archival footage includes post-war scenes, including General Patton's funeral. A video clip was shown of a speech by General Patton, with an introduction by General Doolittle. Ronald Reagan narrated the film.

This was an episode of "The Big Picture" series, which aired on ABC television from 1951 through 1975. The series focused on historic battles, figures and traditions in U.S. military history.
