Michael Lerner talked about his book "Dry Manhattan: Prohibition in New York City," published by Harvard University Press. The 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution ushered in the era of Prohibition in 1919. He focused on the history of resistance to Prohibition in New York City to expose the inherent failures of the law.
