Atty General Addresses Targeted Killings of Americans Overseas

Attorney General Eric Holder discusses national security issues in a speech at Northwestern University Law School in Chicago.

Holder detailed the legal specifics for targeted killings of Americans overseas. He detailed the legal specifics for targeted killings of Americans overseas. He also addressed how the Obama administration restructured military commissions and has used civilian courts to try terrorists.

Attorney General Holder cited the U.S. Patriot Act which authorizes the use of military force and the use of necessary force to prevent future acts of international terrorism against the U.S.
