Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan discussed the future of home ownership at the Brookings Institution on Friday.
A panel discussion with industry and policy experts followed, focusing on the benefits and costs of homeownership and the role of lenders, investors and government policies, such as tax incentives and housing finance subsidies.
Panelists included: American Action Forum President Douglas Holtz-Eakin, National Council of La Raza Director of the Wealth-Building Policy Project Janis Bowdler, Center for Financial Services Innovation Board of Directors Chair Ellen Seidman and American Securitization Forum Executive Director Tom Deutsch.
