On Monday, the Prime Minister reported back to the House of Commons about the outcome of last week’s European Summit meeting on the crisis, where he rejected calls to hold a referendum on the UK’s membership in the European Union.
The UK is not part of the 17-member eurozone, but is a member of the 27-state European Union.
