CEOs from Nike, Procter & Gamble and Alcoa joins the Brookings Institution Tuesday for a day-long series of panels addressing job creation, economic competitiveness, and innovations in technology.
Participants included: Philip Knight, chairman and co-founder of Nike; Robert McDonald Chairman, president and CEO of Procter & Gamble and Klaus Kleinfeld, chairman and CEO of Alcoa. They discuss a range of topics from local innovation to global competition.
The program also included Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, who discussed strategies for reducing the budget deficit without undermining strategies to revitalize the economy.
