On December 27 at 7pm ET, C-SPAN Radio continues a week-long special series of Supreme Court oral arguments by current Justices, before they joined the Court.

In this program:  Solicitor General Elena Kagan’s argument for the FEC in the 2010 political spending case: “Citizens United, appellant v. Federal Election Commission, appellee.” Elena Kagan would join the Court later in 2010.

Perry”, a federal challenge to the 2008 amendment to the California constitution known as Prop 8, which eliminated the  right of same-sex couples to marry in California.  And on March 27: “ United States v. Windsor, “ a challenge to “ DOMA”, the 1996 Defense of Marriage act, which defines marriage for all federal purposes as the union of one man and one woman. The Court will release the audio on the same days as the arguments—and you’ll hear them as soon as they become available on C-SPAN Radio.
