The Washington Post Live hosted an all-day conference to discuss China's growing economy and its influence in the world. The conference, at the United States Institute of Peace, brought together western and Chinese officials, scholars, economists and business leaders to discuss the role of the Chinese economy, U.S. reaction and the future of both economic powers.

Panels included the subjects of building business partnerships with China, the future of the Chinese economy, the next phase of Chinese competitiveness and China's reach into Latin America and the rest of the world.
