Colorado State of the State Address

Colorado Governor John Hickenloooper (D) delivered his third annual state of the state address from the State Capitol in Denver.  He was introduced by the Speaker of the Colorado of House of Representatives. 

Governor Hickenlooper addresses such issues as gun violence, marijuana legalization and Colorado state budget and economy.  Recently, he announced plans to expand Medicaid in Colorado. According to the governor’s office, this would save the state more than $280 million over the next decade.
