On Friday, if no agreement is reached, Defense and other budget cuts originally enacted as part of 2011 debt ceiling deal will take place. House Republicans and Democrats met separately Tuesday morning to discuss the issue and any possible legislation that may be debated to avoid these automatic spending cuts.
