Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Israel's Minister of Defense Ehud Barak spoke to reporters during a joint press conference at the Pentagon.

The Israeli Defense Minister re-emphasized that Palestine’s decision to go to the United Nations is a mistake. Other topics discussed included the recent Israeli-Gaza conflict and Iran’s nuclear program.

U.N. Approves Sanctions Aimed at North Korea

The resolution was drafted by the United States and China, North Korea's closest ally.
