The President and CEO of the Export-Import Bank Fred Hochberg delivered the annual competitiveness report, focusing on the rise of state-driven capital and the Obama Administration’s efforts to improve U.S. export financing options.
The “Ex-Im” bank, as it’s frequently called, was reauthorized at the end of May after receiving bipartisan support in Congress. The Obama Administration has set a goal of doubling U.S. exports to $3.14 trillion by the end of 2014.
