The Hampton Institute at Guild Hall hosts a symposium on two current issues. First, a panel on women's rights and their role in peacekeeping. Then, a panel on financial regulation and the economy.
First, a discussion of women’s rights around the world and women as peacemakers, which including one of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Winners, as well as the widow of Diplomat Richard Holbrooke and a former adviser to both President Bush and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Then, a look at Financial Regulations and the State of the American Economy from some former Wall Street executives who now run their own investment firms, as well as the Assistant Treasury Secretary for Final Institutions Cyrus Amir-Mokri. New York Times columnist Joe Nocera moderates this discussion that took place at Guild Hall’s Hamptons Institute Summer Symposium in New York in July.
