Homeland Security Secretary Speaks on Cybersecurity

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says Congress must act now to address cybersecurity because threats are only increasing.
The Obama administration is drafting an executive order to address threats against the nation’s cyber infrastructure but Napolitano says it isn’t the solve all. Napolitano spoke at Friday's National Journals Cybersecurity Summit in Washington, DC.

Dr. Catherine Lotrionte, executive director of Georgetown’s Institute for Law, Science, and Global Security, and Paul Nguyen, vice president of the Cyber Solutions, Knowledge Consulting Group, participated in a discussion on innovation in cybersecurity.

Andy Greenberg, author of "This Machine Kills Secrets: How Wikileakers, Cypherpunks, and Hacktivists Aim to Free the World’s Information," also gave a keynote speech at the summit.
