House Dems Discuss Impact of Sequestration on Employees

The House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee held a hearing on the impact of sequestration on federal employees and their families.

George Mason University Professor Stephen Fuller, former Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Marion Blakey and former Chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor testified.

Rep. Rob Andrews (D-NJ), co-chair of the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee; Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX), ranking member of the Science, Space and Technology Committee; Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), ranking member of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee; Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), ranking member of the Budget Committee; among other Democratic Steering and Policy Committee members attended.
