The final program in our five-part series featuring oral history from former Vice President Hubert Humphrey, who served under President Lyndon Johnson. In the last of these recordings from the winter of 1974-75 and provided by the Minnesota Historical Society, Humphrey dictates more of his thoughts into a tape recorder. Topics include the post-war ear of the 1940s, his time as Mayor of Minneapolis, and being attacked and heckled by protesters while traveling as Vice President.
