The global economic outlook has improved, according to the head of the IMF Christine Lagarde. At her press conference in Washington on Thursday, she added “We stopped the collapse. We should avoid a relapse. It’s not time to relax”.
Lagarde assessed the state of the global economy, emerging markets and the need for sustained growth. She also outlined her organization's 2013 plans for renewed economic growth. This week, the IMF approved an additional $4 billion dollar package for Greece.
