International Economics Expert Discusses India's Economic Slowdown

The Atlantic Council hosts a discussion on India’s economic challenges. Like China, India is experiencing an economic slowdown. International economics expert, Arvind Subramanian discusses the impact the slowdown will have on the region and on the global economy, as well as how soon India can return to higher growth.

Mr. Subramanian advises the Indian government in a number of capacities, including as a member of the Finance Minister's Expert Group on the G-20. He is also a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development.

Shuja Nawaz, director of the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center, moderates the discussion.
