Additional speakers included: Eleanor Smeal, Ms. Magazine publisher and President of FMF, and Bonnie Thornton Dill, Ph.D, University of Maryland dean of the College of Arts and Humanities and chair of the Ms. Committee of Scholars.
Ms. Magazine was founded in 1972 and was one of the first publications to address controversial issues, such as domestic violence, unfairness of marriage laws and sexual harassment in the workplace.
