We sat down with Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies Chairman to discuss the Inaugural Ceremony & Luncheon Preparations.

We visited the National Building Museum to discuss the History of Inaugural Balls.

We take a tour of St. John’s Episcopal Church “The Church of the Presidents” in Washington, DC.

The Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History has a vast collection of Presidential inaugural artifacts dating back to George Washington’s presidency. We spoke with Harry Rubenstein, the chairman of the museum’s politics division, and took a look at some of the objects from past inaugurations.

And we spoke with several members of the U.S. Army's Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, who will escort President Obama on Monday down Pennsylvania Avenue in the inaugural parade.
