President Obama and lawmakers gather for the dedication of a statue of the late Rosa Parks at a ceremony in Statuary Hall of the United States Capitol.
The President along with House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) dedicate the statue.
Congress authorized the statue back in 2005 shortly after she passed away. She is the first African-American woman to have a statue in her honor in the Capitol.
