President Obama was in California Wednesday for several campaign fundraisers including a LGBT Leadership Council gala at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Speakers included talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and the entertainment was Glee actor Darren Criss.This trip marked President Obama’s fourth visit this year to California. The President then visited the home of Glee creator Ryan Murphy for a fundraising dinner.
Earlier in the day, the President also attended two campaign events in San Francisco at the Landmark Tower and the Julia Morgan Ballroom.
Last month, the Obama campaign announced the national Launch of the Obama Pride: LGBT Americans for Obama, a neighborhood grassroots campaign, to promote LGBT issues.
Thursday, the President attended a fundraising breakfast at a private residence in California before flying to Las Vegas for an event on the economy at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
