Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to the United Kingdom on his first overseas trip since becoming Secretary of State. He met with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Foreign Secretary William Hague in London.
The leaders both agreed that the Middle East continues to remain a priority, specifically the situation in Syria. Shortly after their meetings, Secretaries Kerry and Hague met with reporters at the Foreign Commonwealth office where they praised the U.S.-U.K. partnership and answered questions on the upcoming Rome meeting with Syrian Opposition leaders.
