Sen. Coburn Recommends Specific Cuts to Defense Budget

Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn (R) held a press conference Thursday to unveil his new report highlighting budget cuts for the Defense Department. His report outlines how the Department can save $67.9 billion over ten years on what he describes as “non-defense defense spending.” 

This report comes at time when President Obama and Congress are trying to work on a deal to cut the deficit.
