The Senate Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on the proposed "assault weapons ban of 2013."

U.S. Attorney for Colorado John Walsh and Milwaukee Police Department Chief Edward Flynn testify on the first panel.

A second panel includes: Neil Heslin of Newtown, Conn.; Western Connecticut Health Network EMS Medical Director Dr. William Begg; Fordham Law School Professor of Law Nicholas Johnson; Attorney David Hardy of Tucson, Ariz.; former Republican Florida Rep. Sandy Adams; and Mayor of Philadelphia Michael Nutter.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) presides.
