The top military officials for U.S. Strategic Command and U.S. Cyber Command testified on Capitol Hill Tuesday.
The hearing focused on the policies and programs of these two U.S. military commands along with impact of automatic budget cuts on defense. Other topics of discussion included the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal and cyber threats from China.
Speakers included U.S. Strategic Command head General Robert Kehler and U.S. Cyber Command head Gen. Keith Alexander. Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) chaired this Armed Services Committee hearing with Senator James Inhofe (R-OK ) serving as the ranking member.
