Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Pat Roberts (R-KS) join us to discuss the $969 billion Farm Bill that they are working together to push through the Senate.
On Thursday, a cloture vote advanced the bill toward full debate in the Senate.
The bill would replace the longtime program of subsidies to farmers with crop insurance and a program that would pay farmers if their income from crops falls below certain levels. Debate on the bill is expected to begin this week.
