TSA Administrator John Pistole Outlines Efforts to Improve Agency

The House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Transportation Security holds a hearing on how the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) can improve customer service and efficiency.

TSA Administrator John Pistole provided testimony on efforts being taking to provide security for travelers while improving the administration’s customer service and rebuilding public trust. 

The hearing also examined the recent customer service initiatives implemented by TSA which include: new risked-based screening procedures for children and elderly passengers as well as TSA Cares, a toll-free information hotline for travelers with disabilities and medical conditions. 

Congressman Mike Rogers (R-AL) chairs this subcommittee hearing.

Windsor, “ a challenge to “ DOMA”, the 1996 Defense of Marriage act, which defines marriage for all federal purposes as the union of one man and one woman. The Court will release the audio on the same days as the arguments—and you’ll hear them as soon as they become available on C-SPAN Radio.
