Gerald Ford's presidency is explored through a discussion with one of his Commerce Department undersecretaries: James Baker. Ford served as the 38th president from the years of 1973 - 74 and was the only unelected person to serve in the office. Ford became Vice President after Spirow Agnew resigned during the Watergate scandal. After Nixon's resignation, Ford served the remainder of the term.
