UN Meets Over Clashes in Mideast

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Egyptian Foreign Minister announced, Wednesday, that a cease fire agreement had been reached between Israel and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. The U.N. Security Council met one hour after the cease fire was to go into effect about the situation in the Middle East.

Following the closed door meeting, members heard a report via videoconference from Secrtary-General Ban Ki-Moon.
